I've just tried to run the DOS command " icacls * /T /Q/ C /RESET" (without the quotes), as administrator, in Windows 7, and it says …. PS. Takeown Icacls Using CACLS The CACLS command does not provide a /Y switch to automatically answer 'Y' to the Y/N prompt. Copying the locked folders takes about 4 hours for 200GB on USB 3.0.
In Windows 8 you can open that by right-clicking the bottom left corner of the screen and selecting Command Prompt (Admin). In Windows 7 and previous, search the main menu for cmd, right-click it and select Open as administrator. Big ups for the share!!
