This solved the problem in my case. The problem only affected about 10 to 15 of our servers and there seemed to be no commonality as to which ones were affected and which ones were not. That would repopulate the logon box, and the domaincache key in the registry. Contact the administrator to install the driver before you log in again. The problem was resolved after changing the connections order for "Adapters and Bindings" as LAN was on the top (Network Connections-Advanced Settings). So I deleted the entry, since that PDC no longer existed, and the problem vas fixed. It has not been causing any problems and I have had more important things to take care of, therefor I have kinda set it aside. other
