There is also Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\RunOnce for programs to run on Startup only once.Setup programs use this key a lot for tasks that need to be done on a reboot like replacing in-use You need to do daemon-reload if you plan to use systemctl on the new unit before restarting.
